There was no identification on the boy, who appears to be around 11 years old. That is not unusual because many children don't carry ID. What was strange is that hours after the boy was found no parent or family member missing a child had called LMPD.

The boy, who investigators said appeared to be around 11 years old, was rushed to Kosair Children's Hospital on Tuesday with some type of chest wound. He was pronounced dead there a short time later.
